1000th Caption

After three years I've hit the 1000th caption.  Technically this is my 1,002nd post but a couple of the early ones didn't have any captions attached to them.  It's hard to imagine that I've made this many but I'm looking forward to making a lot more.  With my love of duality the 1000th caption is two stories with intersecting themes, 'The Midas Touch' and 'Face Painting'.  

Here's a couple of bits of additional information.

Firstly, as some of you may know I've set up a blog on Tumblr at http://samanthadesavory.tumblr.com.  I've wanted to do something like a director's commentary for some time, including the work of other captioners, photographers and anything else that has influenced me.  I think Tumblr is the best forum for it and it also gives me the opportunity to post some of my vast collection of uncapped pictures.

Secondly, I'm currently working on something big for October so I might not be posting as regularly for the next month or so.
